I seen what you wrote about john seagroves and mr white. my mothers maiden name is white. i wanted to know if you could tell me if we were related anyway my family is from the youngsville, granville county area on both sides. the only this i can tell you is one of my great grand fathers fought in the civil was his name was rufis seagroves
I’d like to run it in our paper, and to see if you’d be interested in occasionally contributing a column whenever your research connects to Lee, Harnett, Chatham or Moore counties. Unfortunately, we can’t pay, but your tagline could direct readers to your website.
Fran, you would need to contact the News and Observer for permission to use that piece. They have the rights to it. Yes, I would be interested in occasionally contributing a column. I’ll send you a separate email.
I’m not aware of an easy way to do that. I would recommend you reach out to MyHeritage and ask them. Under the Help tab on their homepage, is a link to contact them.

Hi Lisa, I’m the editor of The Sanford (NC) Herald and saw a piece you wrote for the N&O https://www.newsobserver.com/living/liv-columns-blogs/past-times/article140079203.html

Dear Lisa,
I am sorry to bother you again but I have another question.
Do you know if there is anyway to transfer all of my photos and stories from Ancestry to MyHeritage?
I have downloaded Gedcoms of all of my trees to MyHeritage; however, none of the media/gallery items transferred. 🤦♀️
Thanks for all of your help!
