How Does a VIP Genealogy Intensive Day Actually Work?
Schedule Your Day
Schedule your VIP Genealogy Intensive Day for a weekday that works best for you. Once you book your day, you will receive an email confirmation and a Zoom link for your day.
A typical VIP Day runs from 9:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM (Eastern Time). If we are in different time zones and need to make adjustments, we can do that. (See below.)
Preparation
Once you have secured your VIP Day you will be asked to fill out an information form for our day.
You will also be prompted to share any online family trees with me beforehand if you wish.
Research like a VIP!
We’ll start the day with reviewing the genealogy problem(s) you wish to focus on, and create a custom research plan for the day. Then it’s into the records and resources to implement that plan!
It’s Important to Note….
Not every genealogy research question can be answered or every ancestor found. Records may not have survived or may not be accessible to the public. I’m good at what I do. The strategies I show will ensure an exhaustive genealogical search, but does not guarantee a specific date or ancestor will be found.

Your VIP Day will typically run from 9:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET.
What if we’re in different timezones?
No problem! Your start/end times can be adjusted to accommodate the schedule. Email me at Lisa @LisaLisson.com so we can make the necessary time adjustments.
What if none of the dates available work for me.
Don’t worry. Email me at [email protected], and we’ll find the perfect day for you.
As long as you give me a 24 hour notice, you can reschedule for an available time within the next 3 months.
What genealogy research topics are not a good fit for a VIP Genealogy Intensive Day?
Not every genealogy research focus is a good fit for a VIP Genealogy Intensive Day with me. Here are a few examples of topics that are not a good fit for a Genealogy Coaching Day:
